Welcome to Skip's List

Welcome to Skip's List!

Skip's List has become incredibly successful, in part, because of one simple guideline —

Each time you visit Skip's List, please try to contribute a posting to one or more sections. For example, you might go to the Discussion/Support Groups to contribute your opinion or question to one of the 150 topics; to Accessible and Available to find spare batteries for your wheelchair; or to Blogs to add an article to the international blog you created. The List becomes more powerful with each posted input; it's your community, network, and information exchange.

We invite you to become a Skip's List member by initially completing our quick-and-easy sign-in form, and by logging in each time thereafter. Please note that a login is necessary with each visit in order to contribute a posting.

Our vision is that one day all people with disabilities and impairments will be able to communicate freely without limitations due to differences in political orientation, disability type, communication style, or geography.

Our mission for Skip's List is to provide a world-class, online, user-friendly, apolitical, and free information exchange that serves - and is accessible to - all people with disabilities (PWD) as well as their families and friends; that is continually designed and revised by PWD for PWD; and that is abundant in consumerism but relatively free of commercialism.

Just before leaving Skip's List today, would you please do us a favor? Please take three minutes to complete the How are we doing? survey. Your opinions are very important to our planning the future of the List.

Thank you for joining our open membership!

Respectfully,
